1. Generate Jira API Token

  • Log in to your Atlassian account and navigate to your profile's security settings: https://id.atlassian.com/manage-profile/security

  • Click Create API token.
  • Enter a descriptive Label for the token (e.g., Cremit Scanner).
  • Click Create.
  • Copy the generated API token. Store it securely; you will need it for the Cremit configuration.
  • Make note of the Username (email address) associated with this Atlassian account.

2. Configure Cremit Integration

  • Log in to your Cremit Dashboard.
  • Navigate to the Integration tab from the left menu.
  • Click + New and select Jira.
  • Fill in the required fields:
    • Host: Enter the full URL of your Jira instance (e.g., https://yourcompany.atlassian.net).
    • Username: Enter the Atlassian account email address used to generate the API token.
    • Access Token: Paste the Jira API token you copied earlier.
    • Label: Enter a name to easily identify this integration (e.g., Company Jira Cloud).
  • Click Save to complete the integration setup.
